  Just got back from tree tops lodge , we didn't want to leave! Amazing location and a beautiful lodge.

The hot tub was an added bonus and spent most evenings sitting in it . My children were amazed to see a woodpecker every morning feeding from the bird table, some great memories made and will definitely return.

There is no noise and the positioning of the two lodges is not a problem either as there are very strategically planted shrubs to provide privacy between them.
The hot tub was clearly well maintained and it is evident that the host maintains the overall property to a very high standard. She also answered some asks very quickly too. There are trails adjacent that lead down into the forest.
I never thought I could while away so much time watching the birds on the feeder , and when the kids bring me back in the room - the wifi also works very well too

  Fabulous lodge with the most gorgeous views from the hot tub. Very cosy feel to it and everything was super clean. Would highly recommend.   Booked this lodge for a long weekend with the girls. Booking was easy and Kelly responded to any questions before getting there promptly. The cottage is roomy and placed right... read more at the edge of the Forrest .We were there at the same time as storm Ciara. Despite this with lovely underfloor heating and the wind howling outside we were always cosy. Sitting in the hot tub ( which is checked and cleaned daily and so always ready when you want to go in) we watched woodpeckers squirrels pheasants rabbits sheep and a whole bunch of other creatures. We also walked straight from the front door into the Forrest where you can walk as long or as short as you choose.
Coleford is nearby for necessities and there is plenty to do either by foot or with a short drive. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, which has the basics for everyday cooking in it , and a welcome pack . We also ordered a takeaway, which was tasty and delivered timely and warm (despite the storm) . You can also book massages and treatments. We went for the hot stone massage. They come to the lodge, set up and you can pop in the hot tub or shower or just relax straight after. The masseuse was absolutely lovely and the massages were amazing!! Prices were reasonable too.
Finally just to say how friendly and helpful the owner’s are. I left my jewellery bag with some really precious pieces in it. In no time Kelly had notified me , and send it recorded delivery back to me, insisting it is nothing and turning down my offer of payment . Overall I definitely would fully recommend a stay, and am already looking forward to planning a return

The lodge was well placed in the forest, clean and very well equipped.
We have recommended it to friends who enjoy the outdoor life.
